If you're looking to achieve a weight loss goal, Keto Coffee is an excellent tool to get fat burning mechanisms cranked up while reducing the urge to snack or feel hungry. But how many times a day can you ACTUALLY drink Keto Coffee and still achieve your weight loss goal? Today, I'm breaking down the details you need to know on Keto Coffee and burning fat as fuel.

What Is Keto Coffee?

Keto coffee is a general term for coffee that helps keep your body in a fat burning state. In order to stay in a fat burning state (a process called lipolysis), our storing hormone insulin needs to be lower.(1) Certain types of food causes insulin to spike and therefore shift us out of fat burning. These foods include carbohydrates (starches and sugars) and proteins. The macronutrient that doesn't spike insulin is fat. Therefore, Keto Coffee typically contains some type of high quality fat such as grass-fed butter or coconut oil whereas a coffee that wouldn't be considered Keto Coffee is one that contains sugar or protein.

What Are The Benefits Of Keto Coffee For Weight Loss?

Keto Coffee is beneficial for weight loss because it typically does not spike insulin levels (our fat storing hormone). This means your body will remain in a fat burning state, which is exactly the goal with weight loss. Keto Coffee is also a great tool to pair with Intermittent Fasting, especially if weight loss is your goal. Intermittent Fasting has been found to help reduce insulin levels, which is one of the reasons it's believed to be such a great weight loss tool.(2) Keto Coffee is an excellent option to keep you satiated during your fasting window while still keeping insulin levels low and allowing the body to tap into fat burning mechanisms. Because of this, Keto Coffee is perfect for those who are new to Intermittent Fasting and might not be metabolically flexible yet. This is why I typically recommend Keto Coffee (or Keto Tea) in the Complete Intermittent Fasting Bundle Programs to maximize fat burning without experiencing hunger.

How Many Times A Day Can You Drink Keto Coffee?

If weight loss is your goal, ideally you want to aim for 1-2 cups of Keto Coffee per day. Keto Coffee is a great tool to help you achieve your weight loss goals, but if you are completely replacing your meals with Keto Coffee, you're missing out on crucial nutrients needed for weight loss. One major nutrient is protein. Protein maintains muscle, helps to improve body composition and significantly boosts satiety (which helps you avoid those sugar cravings that can lead to spikes in insulin).(3) If you find that you're replacing food with Keto Coffee, then you're likely not getting nearly enough protein to keep you satiated and achieve your weight loss goal. Because Keto Coffee is so high satiating, I typically recommend 1-2 cups of Keto Coffee per day to allow for the meals that are necessary to continue with your weight loss goals. Why does my BV come back every month?

BV is very common and results from a change in the bacterial flora in the vagina. It is sometimes hard to treat, as 30% of women who get better after treatment will get BV again within three months, and more than 50% of women will have BV again within 12 months.

Thanks for your question about bacterial vaginosis (BV)! It can be very frustrating if you’ve taken all of your medication and followed the advice of your health care provider and BV still comes back. BV is very common and results from a change in the bacterial flora in the vagina. It is sometimes hard to treat, as 30% of women who get better after treatment will get BV again within three months, and more than 50% of women will have BV again within 12 months. Experts don’t know exactly why this happens but they do know that there are ways to lower the chance of BV recurring which includes: not having sex or making sure you use a condom EVERY TIME you have sex, limiting the number of sexual partners you have, and not douching. Treating your partner is not recommended, but using condoms makes it more likely that the healthy bacteria in the vagina will stay and prevent the return of BV. If your symptoms are the same, it’s likely that the BV infection has returned but there is no way to know for sure without seeing your health care provider. It’s possible that you may need a different kind of treatment for another type of vaginal infection. Women who have more than three BV infections in a year may need to take medication such as metronidazole for longer than five days. Talk to your health care provider about how to lessen your chance of getting BV and find out if you need to take a longer course of medicine.
