Storage

I don’t recommend storing Keto Nachos. The toppings will make the chips soggy, and nobody wants soggy nachos. If you don’t think you’ll eat the full low carb nacho recipe, just store the ground beef and other topping separately. Then, the next time you’re craving nachos, you can add the toppings to the chips and throw everything straight in the oven!

How to Make Keto Nachos

Cook the Meat

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onion. Cook for 5 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Add the beef to the pan, breaking it up with the back of a spoon. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring to continue to break up the meat. Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, red pepper flakes, chipotle chili powder, salt, and pepper, then cook for another 4 minutes. Drain if necessary.

Make the Nachos

Place the oven rack in the top position and preheat the broiler to high. Meanwhile, line a baking sheet with parchment. Arrange the chips on the pan, then spoon the beef mixture over the chips. Sprinkle with cheese. Place in the oven and cook for about 2 minutes until the cheese melts.
