Eating eggs raw is not the best way to get proteins from eggs. Another popular misconception is that eating raw eggs gives more proteins than when the eggs are cooked. In reality, eggs are packed with high-quality proteins but the amount of proteins available for the body to use depends on the way the egg is cooked. It is difficult for the body to absorb proteins in uncooked eggs. Only about 50% of the proteins in eggs (raw) can be absorbed by the body. Additionally, raw eggs or bad eggs can be carriers of unwanted bacteria such as Salmonella and E.coli which can drastically affect your health.
