These Air Fryer Hard-Boiled Eggs are a quick and easy alternative to boiling eggs in water. The eggs are cooked perfectly and peel easily!

Why This Recipe Works

If you think it seems weird to cook eggs in the air fryer, you will be amazed by the results! Technically the eggs are not "boiled" because we are not using water here, but the result is the same: perfectly cooked eggs, no running yolk, or gooey whites (you can adjust the cooking time for a softer yolk). As with many air fryer recipes, this one is a time-saver as well! No waiting for the water to boil. The air fryer is ready to go in minutes! Use these eggs to make deviled eggs, avocado egg salad, sandwiches, deviled egg macaroni salad, etc.

Wait 10 minutes, then peel eggs. The shells should easily come off.

Why you should use an air fryer to cook hard-boiled eggs? Using your air fryer to cook eggs is quick and easy. You don't have to wait for the water to boil or, in the case of the Instant Pot, for the pressure to build up. You simply place the eggs in the air fryer basket, set the temperature and time, and let it work. The eggs come out cooked perfectly and peel like a dream! You can cook one, a few, or a whole dozen (depending on the size of your air fryer).
